Questions & answers

Which profiles work?

Both public and locked Facebook profiles work. You get the current profile picture and cover photo in full resolution even when a profile is locked. If a profile has no photo or the link is removed, the lookup fails and isn't counted.

What counts as a lookup?

One successful search for a profile. You get both the profile photo and the cover photo. Failed lookups never count against your plan or your free lookups. On Monthly and Yearly plans, searching a profile again while it's saved in your account (7 or 30 days) is free.

How do the free lookups work?

Each new account gets its free lookups once, when you sign up with Google or Microsoft. They aren't given out over a VPN or iCloud Private Relay: turn it off and sign in again to get them.

What happens if I run out of lookups?

On a subscription plan, your lookups reset at the start of each billing period. Need more sooner? You can buy a one-time lookup pack anytime, or switch to a bigger plan.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Open your account and choose Manage billing. You keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for.

How does billing work?

One-time packs never renew and their lookups never expire. Monthly and Yearly plans renew automatically until you cancel. Payments are handled securely by our payment processor, so we never see or store your card details.

Do you keep the photos I look up?

Only briefly. A lookup stays in memory for up to an hour, so a repeat search is instant (it still counts as a lookup). On Monthly and Yearly plans your most recent results are also saved to your account (7 days on Monthly, 30 days on Yearly), so you can open them again for free. After that they're deleted automatically. You can always fetch fresh photos instead (that uses a lookup). We don't build a library of anyone's pictures.

Can I use the photos I download?

The photos belong to the people who posted them. You're responsible for how you use the photos you download. Make sure your use is legal and respects the owner's privacy and copyright. We aren't responsible for what you do with the photos you download. The full rules are in our Terms of Use.

I lost my API key. What now?

Sign in again with Google or Microsoft: your API key is shown in your account. If you only have the key and lost it, contact support from the email you signed up with.
